December 22, 2010 (Tampa Bay, FL) – Less Than 6 Degrees Tampa Bay is proud to launch the new year with a social mixer to benefit their 2011 charity, Florida Gulf Coast Paralyzed Veterans of America.
The Paralyzed Veterans of America is a congressionally chartered veteran’s service organization founded in 1946. Just one of 34 chapters across the US, it has developed a unique expertise – helping veterans of the armed forces who have experienced spinal cord injury or dysfunction.
“We are proud to be supporting the Paralyzed Veterans of America” says Vinny Tafuro, co founder of Six Degrees, “and look forward to a new year raising money and awareness for such a great cause through our mixers.”
In just two years Less Than 6 Degrees Tampa Bay raised over $6,000 for All Children’s Hospital.
Less Than 6 Degrees Tampa Bay is a business and social networking group to “bridge the bay” with people of all ages, religions, cultures and ethnic backgrounds who have similar business and social interests and want to give back to our community. We alternate locations in Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties.
The group’s third annual “Hair of da DAWG” kicks off the year on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Gatsby’s Venue in St Petersburg.
Cost for the event is $10 with all proceeds going to the Paralyzed Veterans of America and a complimentary glass of wine or domestic beer will be provided.
